Donald (Don) Steinke is a LAN administrator at The Hilltop Institute, where he configures and supports network resources and provides desktop support. He works with UMBC to maintain network cabling and switches. Mr. Steinke has extensive knowledge of and experience with Novell and Microsoft networks. He also has extensive hardware and software expertise.
As IT support specialist at University of Maryland Baltimore, Mr. Steinke supported and configured network resources for the Anesthesiology Department at Shock Trauma, the Anesthesiology research lab, and the National Study Center for Trauma and Emergency Medical Systems. He was also responsible for configuring and supporting teleconferencing equipment between multiple hospitals and overseeing and supporting audio, video, and digital data collection for various research projects. Prior to that, Mr. Steinke served as network engineer for CCI, CMS Automation, where he was responsible for configuring and installing networks, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, designing and implementing network solutions, and upgrading network operating systems and client software.
Mr. Steinke received his bachelor's degree from Towson State University.
