Erica Reaves is a research assistant at The Hilltop Institute. In this position, she supports the research analysts and the senior research analysts in the long-term supports and services unit. Specifically, she provides primary research data and information necessary for policy analytical studies the unit conducts for the Maryland Medicaid program and other clients.
Ms. Reaves joins The Hilltop Institute with an extensive background in biomedical research. She participated in undergraduate summer internship programs at Lancaster University (UK), Howard Hughes Medical Institute at UC-Boulder, Abbott Laboratories, and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In addition, Ms. Reaves participated in the National Institutes of Health's Minority Access to Research Careers - Undergraduate Student Training in Academic Research (MARC U*STAR) Program.
Ms. Reaves obtained a B.S. in biological sciences from UMBC and is a graduate of the Robert and Jane Meyerhoff Scholarship Program.
