Kesha Shaw is a program management specialist at The Hilltop Institute, where she provides technical, clerical, customer service, and project management support for the information systems and programming team. Specifically, she serves as the primary contact for users of web- and non-web-based applications; conducts end-user testing; develops user and training manuals; and assists with project management documentation.
Prior to joining Hilltop, Ms. Shaw was a data specialist with the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. In this role, she managed systems development of a web-based tracking system for the Living at Home (LAH) waiver and was system administrator for the Older Adult Waiver (OAW) tracking system. She was also responsible for website and contract management. Prior to this position, Ms. Shaw was a data specialist with the Maryland Department of Human Resources (DHR), where she served as project manager to assist with development and review project plans for McFred, a relational database to streamline eligibility processes; provided IT technical assistance; and was responsible for data management.
Ms. Shaw is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information systems management from the University of Baltimore. She has an associate of applied science degree in information technology.
