Susan Chen
Senior Research Analyst

Susan Chen is a senior research analyst with The Hilltop Institute. In this capacity, she performs SAS programming under a variety of operating systems and analyzes large health care claims, data sets, economic evaluations, quality of care/outcome measurements, and payment/capitation studies. Ms. Chen has extensive experience in SAS programming, database management, and data analysis.

Prior to joining The Hilltop Institute, Ms. Chen gained experience as a senior SAS programmer at GloboMax LLC, a pharmaceutical company; a senior SAS programmer at Social & Scientific Systems, a health care research company; and a programmer analyst at QuadraMed Corporation, also a health care research company.

Ms. Chen has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Baltimore and a bachelor's degree in economics from Jilin University (Changchun, China).
